Vendor Spotlight: Owl Creek Crafters
Crafted by Hand, Built with Purpose

At The RF Strickland Co. Mercantile, we love getting to know the people behind what they create — and Owl Creek Crafters, LLC is a perfect example of what happens when creativity, craftsmanship, and heart come together.
Based in Griffin, Georgia, Owl Creek Crafters, LLC is owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Hassen and Diana Muralles, who have been creating together since long before their business officially began in 2022.
What started as a shared love for building, crafting, and working with their hands has grown into a business centered around one simple idea:
Taking something imagined… and turning it into something real.
Where it all Began
Like many great things, Owl Creek Crafters didn’t start as a business plan.
It started with a table.
Nearly ten years ago, Diana asked Hassen to build a farmhouse dining table for their first home. She had found the plans and envisioned a piece that would hold meaning — something their family could gather around for years to come.
And it did.
That table led to another.
Then a river table.
Then furniture for their home.
Before long, they were creating gifts for friends and family — pieces made with care, intention, and attention to detail. Those gifts turned into requests. Those requests turned into orders.
And eventually, into Owl Creek Crafters, LLC.
Growing Into Something More
As their work expanded, so did their need for space.
What once filled a garage and a small backyard shed eventually led them to a new property in Griffin — where they built a shop, added tools and equipment, and created room for both their growing business and their growing family.
Even the name Owl Creek Crafters has roots in that space — inspired by a pair of barred owls nesting near a creek behind their shop.
It’s a small detail, but one that reflects something bigger:
This business is deeply tied to where they are, how they live, and what they create.
Crafted for Everyday & Made to Be Personal
Today, Owl Creek Crafters offers a wide range of handcrafted and custom pieces inside the Mercantile — each one created with the same hands-on care that started it all.
Their work includes:
- Custom hats with leatherette, UV printed, and embroidered patches
- Hand-turned luxury antler pens
- Handcrafted hunting calls (duck, buck, and turkey)
- Laser engraved tumblers, mugs, and metal wallets
Their hats, especially their outdoor and hunting designs, have quickly become customer favorites — the kind of pieces that feel both personal and practical.
But what truly sets Owl Creek Crafters apart is the ability to take something standard… and make it personal.
From hats and tumblers to pens, wallets, koozies, cutting boards, and coasters, they offer custom work for individuals, businesses, events, and groups — creating pieces that feel specific to the person receiving them.
Not generic.
Not one-size-fits-all.
But thoughtfully made — with purpose behind every detail.

More Than Just a Product
That attention to detail doesn’t stop at the design — it’s part of the process from start to finish.
At the heart of Owl Creek Crafters is a genuine love for creating. They don’t just enjoy making things — they enjoy bringing ideas to life.
Whether it’s one of their own designs or something a customer has imagined, there’s something meaningful about turning a concept into something tangible.
And that meaning carries through to the final product.
Their hope is that every piece feels intentional, personal and made with care.
Not just something you picked up —
but something that feels like it was made for you.
Because it was.
